Can you become the best recruiting manager and grow yourself, as well as the company? Petra Cephas is a client-centric mortgage company that is among the top 15 in New Jersey. We’re seeking an experienced recruiting manager to oversee our hiring efforts. You will work closely with all company departments to manage sourcing, interviewing, and employment processes. An ideal candidate has an HR background, is familiar with the mortgage industry, and has experience screening and evaluating job candidates.
Responsibilities include:
· Updating current and designing new recruiting procedures
· Keeping track of recruiting metrics
· Implement new candidate sourcing methods
· Research and choose job advertising options
· Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
· Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
· Stay up-to-date on labor legislation
· Participate in job fairs and career events
· Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners
· Spearhead employee retention initiatives
Requirements include:
· Proven work experience as a Recruiting Consultant, Coordinator, and/or Manager
· Knowledge of labor legislation
· Experience with both phone and in-person interviews, candidate screening, and candidate evaluation.
· Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong decision-making skills
· Bachelors degree in HR Management or Organizational Psychology preferred
This is a full time position located in Somerset NJ. Salary is $75k per year. Full-time employees are eligible for a bonus commensurate on performance at the end of the calendar year provided they have been employed with Petra Cephas for at least one full year.
